the odds

I was doing some gardening yesterday trying to clear my head over a few things. For some mysterious reason, I struck a conversation with a neighbour whom I'd seen a few times, but never spoken to.

To our mutual amazement, his wife came from a remarkably similar background as I. And he is into photography and travel just as K. Our friendship immediately flourished.

I guess the thing is we really shouldn't have waited for 4 years to discover that. : )
