a case study of honesty and fairness III

Today I received divine intervention for my commercially reasonable dealing with the headphone. One ear cup snapped while I was adjusting it. It was evidently defective design or manufacturing. I had to write a compelling letter to Amazon with regard to this new development and received the refund for my $20.

The play field is level now. I'm left with whatever residual value of a ridiculous looking headphone with one ear cup in bondage. Otherwise it still has most of its functions apart from the rotatable ear cup which would allow it to fit snuggly in its suave little black case.

I paid easily 8 unproductive hours for it. Fair enough.

In hindsight, it indeed would seem that altruism is the only winning deal.
