A lot has happened while I was away for the moot. One lesson of value I learnt from the trip was that people act irregularly under stress. Yes, we all do. It's one thing to maintain utmost self-control. It's another thing to respond to the external irregularity appropriately. The latter is a major task. There is always the danger of being unintentionally and unconsciously sucked into other people's stress. Keeping a cool head under pressure and maintaining control over the situation are the key survival skills in these circumstances.
In this case, the SBV technique will definitely help.
