From here

I made a round of phone calls to enquire about competitions on mooting, interviewing, negotiation, etc etc. And not surprisingly, they are generally unavailable to LEC students. I was told to wait until a competition comes up and that LPAB and LEC decide to enter. For a moment, I feel like a law-study enthusiast living on the margin of the law society.

So there are two roads to take from here: 1. study at the uni; 2. create doors where there are no doors....Since Sydney uni law school doesn't grant advance standing for LEC study, I'm left with only one choice - creating doors - LOL.

The strategy from here then is to 1. research online and shortlist a range of competitions that I may be interested in; 2. check the eligibilities; 3. enquire with local student associations and LEC about entering; 4. fundraising for my comeptitions, lol.
