I love this concept of being a tourist on our planet, which comes from the book "advising on death" that I was reading this morning. Exactly, how often do we forget about the fact that every living thing on this planet dies and that includes humans however superior we might think we are. I think knowing that our time on this planet is limited is a wake up call for us to do something more constructive, loving and compassionate than engaging in our daily gossips and superficial attachments. But not many have to courage, resolve and innerdiscipline. I'm sadly not exceptional in this regard.
But meditating on this fact will help me get started. There's a lot of love to give in this lifetime. Love is not unlike the breastmilk - the more you give the more you'll have.
