We came across this video "Nightmare Kitten" on the tube. It featured the cutest scottish kitten sleeping in someone's palm and kicking the cute little legs in her dream. She was so adorable.
I was saying to K this morning that I had a dream of the two of us going on an adventure which ended with us being dragged by a fatherly figure to the attic of a dilapidated wood cottage leaving a blood trail behind. Then an avatar of me fled to get help. I sensed some commotion in the woods so I quickly hid behind a giant tree.
In the valley sprawling before my eyes, hundreds of beasts walked clumsily on their hind legs in the direction of the cottage. As they did that, their beastly heads turned into carefully combed human heads and their furs into suits. They eventually gathered enough confidence in their steps to stride like humans. I couldn't recall fear or anxiety for the fate of the pair in the cottage. I was filled with marvel and curiosity. Then the day broke.
I pondered the meaning of the dream for the whole morning. It was purely bizarre that I should have such a dream given that I never had nightmares. It probably would not qualify as a nightmare since there was no fear.
When I shared this with K, he said "so is that why you were kicking all night?" : )
