Shambala

For a while, I was under the conviction that the human society that we live in now is full of filth. It is this despair that gives rise to the longing for Shambala. Then, when the tide of despair eased, I found myself renouncing all worldly pleasures while secretly praising the pure joy of owning a new mac - MacBook Air. It is rare that I should devote any time describing an earthly item in my possession. But as far as necessity is concerned, I must honestly confront this layer of hypocrisy by singing my praise aloud. Air has earned it.

Then, I had a second thought about pouring out metaphors and parallels, and the most unusual and gallant words discoverable in a Thesaurus. Instead of wasting my time on stimulating the imagination of some imaginary readers, I shall stay true to my feelings. The indescribable feeling of laying my eyes on its unblemished aluminum unibody has revived my faith in simple beauty.

It so happened that when I was searching for a desktop image befitting my little beauty. I came across a painting by Nicolas Roerich. It struck me in awe. It is, indeed, called "Path to Shambala".
